Kayode Okunola is a seasoned tax professional with over 15 years of extensive experience in tax consulting, planning, and compliance. As the Founder and Lead Tax Consultant of Tax Doctor, one of Nigeria’s leading tax consulting firms based in Lagos, Kayode has dedicated his career to assisting individuals and businesses in navigating the complex Nigerian tax landscape to achieve their financial goals.
He possesses deep expertise in various aspects of taxation, including tax planning and advisory services, tax compliance and regulatory matters, tax audit and dispute resolution, Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), as well as personal and corporate tax services.
Kayode’s academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University. He is a respected Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), underscoring his commitment to professional excellence and ethical standards. Prior to establishing TaxDoctor in 2015, Kayode served as a Tax Partner at Bamigbade Aderemi & Co from 2010 to 2015 and as a Tax Advisor at Broadview Advisory Partners between 2008 and 2010, where he honed his skills and developed a reputation for delivering strategic and effective tax solutionsns.s
